Hello, I'm Robyn. Passion, knowledge, and drive have strengthened my 20-year career as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Growing up in a multicultural setting has given me the ability to partner with clients and families from diverse cultural backgrounds and ethnicities. Striving to shape an individual’s wellness, resilience, and recovery is paramount to my practice. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I am currently licensed as an LPC. My professional journey includes 12 years of providing supportive services and case management for children, youths, adults, and their families in both the private sector and with the military. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), short-term, solution-focused counseling, and consultation. I specialize in working with individuals facing ADHD, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health issues, anxiety, bipolar disorder, children's mental/behavioral health, depression, family and intimate/romantic relationships, learning disorders, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, multicultural/diversity issues, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), phobias, psychosis/schizophrenia, PTSD, sex/intimacy issues, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming behaviors, and trauma. Additionally, I offer SonderMind Video Telehealth services for those who prefer or require remote sessions.
