I am a Christian counselor and I specialize in work with codependency, narcissistic abuse, problematic relationships, assertiveness/boundaries training, and addiction treatment with help from 12 Step principles. I use DBT and CBT therapies, but also use several other therapeutic approaches and I have an extensive history in working with military families. I have a very direct communication style and do not believe in beating around the bush, but I have worked hard to present this in a soft and warm manor that's easy to digest and meets you wherever you're at in your journey. I have an easy going and calm style, but I tend to be on the goofy side. If you choose to work with me, please be prepared for appropriately timed humor and nerd references that will make concepts and tools easier to grasp and remember.
