Hello, I am Dr. Rochelle Henderson-Clark. I am committed to working with individuals and couples who are interested in making a change in their lives. I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with a wide range of concerns related to mental health, substance abuse, and relationship issues. I have a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in addition to a Ph.D. in Human Services with a specialization in Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner. My work and training with the co-occurring disorders population have earned me a certificate as a Co-Occurring Disorders Professional. I was privileged to earn a place in the international honors society of Chi Sigma Iota which recognizes academic and professional excellence in the field of Counseling. I have a long-standing commitment to helping individuals with mental, behavioral, emotional, and substance abuse issues. My integrative approach to treatment is grounded in cognitive behavioral theory and guided by empirically supported interventions. I balance acceptance-based approaches with solution-focused strategies to help clients achieve their goals. I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve lasting, realistic, and sustainable changes in their lives. I value a collaborative therapeutic relationship and provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment for my clients to explore difficult feelings, emotions, and thoughts.
