UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I am a licensed professional counselor with 15 years of experience working with youth and adults, addressing trauma, crisis, and multiple mental health issues. I use a person-centered approach to identify my clients’ needs and then work from there, incorporating additional methods that may benefit them most. I utilize different approaches such as CBT and humanistic therapy—focusing on the individual and building a therapeutic relationship that enhances the therapy experience. I encourage mindfulness and self-care with my clients, helping increase happiness and balance in their lives. I hold an MEd in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College and a Master’s in Human Services Executive Leadership from Liberty University. My desire is to meet you where you’re at in your journey and support you in the process and your progress!
