What should a new client know about working with you?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a behavioral therapeutic approach that is used to treat conditions such as depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, addictions and various other mental health complications. I have been trained at the masters educational level in the use of this psycho-therapeutic modality. I have years of experienced working with this approach to treatment and typically see lasting results. I enjoye watching clients expand their thoughts and perspectives with this approach. I approach the treatment of clients managing Depression from various, wholistic, approaches, including CBT, REBT, and Solution Focused therapy. I have assisted clients in locating the sources of Depression, management while having it, and creating solutions in moving past Depression. Depression does not have to be a lifelong battle, and with the right approaches and treatment methods, symptoms will be resolved.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session I'd love to get to know how you are, let you know who I am, and find common ground to stand on as we begin our therapeutic journey! We can delve into challenges faced, and as a team, build strategies and guidelines as steps to eventually resolve specified issues! Having worked with those dealing with Depression, Anxiety, and Trauma for the past years, and overcoming my own experiences, I've developed not only ways to assist other in anxiety/depression management, but also am able to genuinely connect with my clients on a deeper level that promotes holistic well-being. I use quantitative and qualitative approaches to measure progression towards goals!
