Hello and Welcome!
Sometimes we reach a point in our lives when we need an outside perspective from a nonjudgmental third party. My style is casual and conversational but at the same time focused on understanding you and finding solutions for you. I have much life experience to draw from.
Counseling is a career I came to a bit later in life. I come from a working-class family and know what it's like to face challenges of many kinds. I became passionate about personal growth and wellness in my early 20s after recovering from a bout of severe depression. I became a voracious learner in the fields of personal growth, psychology, and self-help. I eventually decided to pursue counseling and earned my Master's in Counseling from Western Michigan University. I have been serving as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 8 plus years. Helping people work through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions is where most of my experience lies. I also have experience helping people manage ADHD, addictions, and PTSD.
I love getting outside and exploring nature's beauty. I also enjoy rock concerts and live sporting events. I am an avid sports fan and an avid music lover.
