“On my path to mental wllness I have gone through a few providers some due to negative interactions. I am happy and relieved I found Saige. She sets goals, listens intentionally, makes you feel comfortable, and gives valuable relevant feedback. She remembers session to session what is gong on in your life and s able to pivot as needed to address current or past issues. She is consistently learning in her field and easily forms connections with patients. I can’t recommend Saige enough. ”

Getting to know Saige Sola

*Aetna and private pay only* Saige is a licensed associate counselor (LAC) who has her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Argosy University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Saige has over 15 years experience providing case management and counseling services to adults and adolescents within the general population and the severely mentally ill population. Saige is certified in Grief and Loss therapy and provides a nurturing environment to assist clients in the mourning and grieving process. Saige is also certified in Mental Health and Nutrition and will assist you in determining if you could benefit from specific diet changes, supplements, or functional medicine testing. Saige’s therapeutic approach is eclectic in efforts to cater to each of her client’s needs. She finds DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing to be the most effective approaches when working with clients. She will assist you in diagnosis, treatment planning, and better understanding your symptoms. Saige prefers a gentler approach, and likes to focus on building her client's confidence and values collaboratively. She is passionate about supporting growth in terms of self-worth, confidence, and esteem. Saige finds purpose in her work by watching clients find happiness through their growth. In her free time, Saige enjoys spending time with her husband and watching their four sons participate in various sports leagues. She also enjoys volunteering in her children’s local schools on a regular basis.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is working collaboratively with clients so that they are getting the therapeutic experience they are hoping for. I do this by working together to create treatment goals, so that I know we are always working towards your desired outcomes of treatment. I'm here to be what you're needing, while providing guidance & challenging you to grow!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I typically start by gaining your background story. I want to hear from you what your perspective on your presenting concerns are, and what your life looks like in your own eyes. This helps me get a sense of what you're hoping to tackle in therapy, as well as what your barriers to getting there have been thus far. I like to create clear goals together to ensure you're getting what you want in out of our time together. Once that's established, I use various modalities such as CBT, DBT and EFT to approach your goals with you.

Saige has been a huge help with my marriage. She is very kind, patient, knowlegable and she really listens. She was able to help my husband and I understand each other and ourselves and communicate better. I don't think I'd still be married if it weren't for her.
As a therapist myself, I have had the pleasure of working along side and supervising Saige, being able to observe her passion for her work. Saige is highly knowledgable due to her experience with various clientele, as vast as SMI (seriously mentally ill) as well as those simply looking for a weekly check in. She does great with ensuring safety of her clients, and making sure they feel seen, heard and supported.
