What should a new client know about working with you?

As a new couple or individual in therapy, you will find a collaborative and affirming space to openly express your problems and reach a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and reactions. I believe therapy can be a transformative process, helping you share vulnerable parts of yourself and work through the conflicts in your life. My approach is emotionally-focused and culturally informed, ensuring you feel heard and connected throughout the therapeutic process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy with me tends to be long-term and deep. In our first session, we will get to know each other as I ask about your current struggles and personal history. I encourage you to speak unfiltered as I pose reflective questions to help you connect with your emotional experiences and put into words painful or uncomfortable feelings. Through curiosity and acceptance, we can resolve your problems and uncover patterns influencing you and your relationships.
