Psychotherapist

** Now accepting new clients! ** Hi, I'm Sarah. As your therapist, it is my goal to see you live more in alignment with your values. I believe that life's experiences teach us things about the world-- these are neither good nor bad, but simply information to help us live more fully as ourselves. When we judge ourselves for our past experiences or future choices, we can get stuck. As a result, it can become hard to find our way and manage life's challenges in the here-and-now. I aim to be present when my clients discover new ways to authentically experience change. I've worked with clients from many walks of life and with varied needs. Previously, I have worked as a domestic violence counselor, couples therapist, and individual therapist. My areas of expertise are anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, relationship problems, gender and sexuality, and neurodivergence. I like to use humor, challenging questions, and somatic questioning to help you become more attuned with your body. I am inspired by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Feminist Therapy, Narrative Therapy and the Gottman Method. I graduated from University of Denver with a Master's in Social Work and from the University of Colorado with a BA in Philosophy. I currently have openings for 1-2 weekly or biweekly clients on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 5:00 or 6:00 pm. I look forward to working with you!
