I strive to provide a safe space for my clients to share and explore without judgment the areas of life presenting challenges. We’ll work together to deepen understanding of your unique story, and to nurture your growth. Beginning sessions will focus on gaining understanding—of your current and past experiences and hopes for change, while building a strong foundation of rapport. With that strong base, we shift into identifying and challenging unhelpful patterns, uncovering new insights, and developing skills to reshape your narrative and path forward. I have worked in the behavioral health field since 2006, working with individuals across the lifespan, including pediatric behavioral health, vocational rehabilitation, disability adjustment, social services, and geriatric care. I have a master’s degree in counseling, and maintain licensure as a professional counselor. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and individualized to the needs of each client, drawing from CBT, insight-oriented, narrative, MI, and multi-cultural counseling. Finding the right therapist is essential to effective counseling. For this reason, I start with a 15-minute free consultation prior to scheduling to answer questions and to assess if my scope of services are a good match. *** Please note my availability for teletherapy is Monday-Thursdays, between 2:30-4:30pm. Based on my part-time schedule, I am unable to serve individuals requiring between session care. ***
