Hi there, I'm Sarah, and I'm here to help you navigate through life's challenges. Do you feel alone, and like no one understands you? Do you feel stuck, or out of options? Life can be overwhelming, especially if you do not have support or proper tools. I am here to listen and remind you that you are not alone. I use a variety of techniques and therapies for an individualized approach, which allows for engaging and productive sessions. I will provide you with a non-judgmental, therapeutic setting to help you see life through a different lens. By increasing self-awareness, you are taking an active role in your own therapy. Together, we can empower you to better manage life’s challenges. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. My passion for working in foster care and adoption led me to obtain a Master of Social Work (MSW) Degree and earn an advanced clinical license (Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or LCSW). For over 10 years, I worked as a group home therapist providing individual, family, and group therapy for troubled teens within residential and private practice settings. After relocating to Singapore, I worked specifically in private practice with adolescents and adults experiencing adjustment disorders, depression, and anxiety. In addition, I work with many Third Culture Kids (TCK) as well as expatriate women. I hold active clinical licenses in Colorado and Illinois. I am also an active member of the Singapore Association of Counsellors. Originally from Central Illinois, I lived and worked in Chicago, Illinois for 15 years before relocating to Singapore in 2014. In 2021, I repatriated to the United States. In my free time, I find my greatest joy spending time with my family and friends, surfing, and traveling. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm here to support you on your journey. Let's work together to create a path forward.
