Getting to know Sarah Leone

Hello, I'm Sarah. Most of my career has involved working with adults, focusing predominantly on trauma, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I have served in various roles, including therapist, EAP, and management consultant. Clinically speaking, I love to do EMDR. Additionally, I have been trained in CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) and PE (Prolonged Exposure). As a Navy veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, I have a deep passion for veterans and their families. With 22 years of experience working with both veterans and Native Americans, I understand the courage it takes to come forward and ask for help. I carefully consider what will foster my clients' personal growth. It has been an honor to work with many wonderful people and hear their success stories after years of being stuck in patterns. My approach is to meet you where you are. I want to know what is most important to you so I can tailor my recommendations to your goals. I believe in creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings. On a personal note, I live in Phoenix. I enjoy being outdoors whenever possible, spending time with friends and family, occasionally cooking, and watching shows from the '70s and '80s. I also have many stories from living overseas and traveling. In the Fall of 2020, I began pursuing a Doctorate.
