Hello, I'm Sarah Maniago, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Colorado. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Colorado Mesa University in 2014 and went on to complete my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Southern California in 2017. I obtained my license in February of 2020 and have been working in the mental health field for 9 years. My experience spans crisis assessment/management, brief psychotherapy, case management, and psychotherapy, working with clients of all ages, from children aged 7+ to older adults. Currently, my practice focuses on adolescents (age 13) through older adulthood, and I have a wide range of experience with adolescents, families, and adult patients. In our sessions, I utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Systems Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Polyvagal Theory, EMDR, and Trauma-Informed techniques. My goal is to create a safe, positive environment where you can thrive and lead a meaningful, goal-oriented, and fulfilling life that you are proud of. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Family relationships, Psychosis/Schizophrenia, Trauma, Life transitions, Anxiety, and Intimate/Romantic relationships. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, where we work together to identify your goals and develop a plan to achieve them. Outside of work, I prioritize self-care and enjoy engaging in sports, exercise, and outdoor activities. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a balanced perspective to my practice.
