Getting to know Sarah Moreland

Hi, I am Sarah. I have been a Clinical Social Worker for 20 years, working primarily in mental health at the Veteran's Health Administration. I've worked in inpatient, outpatient and residential settings. Over the years I've worked with adults struggling with various mental health diagnoses, trauma, substance use, situational struggles, difficult family dynamics and life changes. My passion is allowing individuals to have a brave and safe space to be heard in order to tackle their goals. We will start wherever you want to start, you set the agenda and the goals. I will be beside you to motivate, offer suggestions and support or just listen. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies so if you want more structured sessions with homework in between sessions we can do that also. My only goal is for you to feel the way you want to feel, in order for you to do the things that you want to do. I look forward to working with you!
