Getting to know Sascha Zuckerman

As an individual, I believe that therapy is most successful when it is a truly collaborative process. It is my goal to provide compassionate and informed care, allowing the individual to decide which areas of their lives are most important to focus on. I strive to work alongside clients to both witness distress with compassion and challenge them to identify patterns that may no longer be supportive in the way they once were. The therapy space is not a vacuum, and I believe it is imperative to look through both anti-oppressive and social justice lenses to inform dynamics that may occur throughout the therapeutic practice. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Smith College, which has further shaped my commitment to these principles.
