Hello! I'm Saunique. I assume you've come because 'life is lifing.' Do you feel overwhelmed with your daily life? Has it become harder to keep 'pushing through'? Maybe you are going through some seasonal changes or life transitions. Or perhaps your past has gotten in the way—thoughts you can't stop thinking? Behaviors that are no longer serving you and that you are having a hard time changing? I want to help you get 'unstuck.' In fact, that's my superpower! I believe that new thoughts give way to new behaviors, and new behaviors build new life. With over 15 years of experience in the field of social work and over 19 years in the mental health field, my experience includes working with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and groups with a wide range of diagnoses in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospital; community-based organizations; schools; and residential facilities. I am a culturally sensitive, strengths-based, person-centered, trauma-informed clinician trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy), and I regularly use CBT, IFS, and Motivational Interviewing concepts and techniques in my therapeutic work.
