UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. My counseling style is creative, collaborative, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, rational-emotive, solution-focused, gestalt, and person-centered counseling. I tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and encourage you to communicate when things aren't working so that we can adjust our goals or approach at any time throughout the counseling process. I consider myself a very spiritual person and like to incorporate spiritual practices into my work, though it is not a requirement. I hold a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and earned my Bachelor's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
