Getting to know Sierra Sanchez
Growing up in an alcoholic home, I quickly learned to take care of myself. Experiencing my parents' addictions and neglect was challenging as a young child. As I became my own parent, I also became a caretaker for others.
Working with a therapist and attending a twelve-step program helped me understand alcoholism/addiction and live more authentically. I gained valuable experience as a therapist in Los Angeles juvenile hall and Odessa Brown Children's Clinic. Private practice allows me to think outside the box and focus on working with individual adults.
I help my adult clients move beyond childhood experiences and trauma. I assist them in developing self- compassion, improving relationships, and setting healthy boundaries. I also collaborate with holistic practitioners to enhance mental health. My direct communication style and focus on moving clients forward help them gain a new perspective on life and live a balanced, fulfilling life.
