Getting to know Sierrah Knorp

Hello, I'm Sierrah. As a down-to-earth therapist, my goal is to understand what may be getting in the way of your best self, relationships, or life. I utilize a person-centered approach to therapy to meet you where you are and discuss your goals. I believe that by providing you a safe space to discuss your concerns, you will be able to see what changes may or may not need to be made in your life to move forward. It can be common during life transitions, in relationships, or after losses or traumas, to lose your footing; my goal is to help you identify and process those through a variety of modalities including talk therapy, CBT, DBT, and EMDR. I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from St. Cloud State University in MN in 2012 and have been practicing for almost a decade. I moved from Minnesota to Colorado to pursue my licensure process as well as for my love of nature. I currently hold both my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). I have worked in a variety of settings including in-home, outpatient, and inpatient. I love working with families and helping parents to navigate challenges in parenting as well as helping to build healthy relationships and boundaries in families. I have worked with a variety of patients from ages 5-64, however, I am mainly focusing this practice on adults only. I enjoy working with young adults (25-50). I love to work with new mothers navigating the beautiful challenges of motherhood, as well as life transitions of any kind. I can offer treatment that is trauma-focused if we find it to be the right time for you. I look forward to meeting you and seeing if we are the right fit.
