Simone Schultz, SW, LPC

Psychotherapist
NJ
I am a warm, compassionate, and direct therapist who believes healing happens when clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported without judgment. My style is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in helping clients better understand themselves, their patterns, and the experiences that have shaped them. I work best with clients who are ready to explore their emotions, relationships, identity, trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, or life transitions in a deeper and more honest way. I bring both clinical knowledge and genuine humanity into the room, balancing empathy with gentle challenge when needed. My goal is to help you feel safe enough to be vulnerable, while also supporting you in building insight, emotional resilience, healthier coping skills, and meaningful change. As a therapist, I understand that seeking support can feel intimidating, especially if you are used to carrying everything on your own. I strive to create a space where you do not have to perform, minimize your pain, or have everything figured out before you begin. We will work together at your pace, with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your lived experience.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
