Psychotherapist
WA
Hi, I'm Sky Kili (they/them), a queer, nonbinary therapist and founder of Fluid Nature Therapy PLLC. I offer online therapy for adults throughout Washington State, providing an affirming, collaborative space to explore your experiences, navigate challenges, and reconnect with yourself. I believe that healing and growth aren't linear, and that meaningful change happens when we feel safe, understood, and empowered to move at our own pace. My approach is warm, curious, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own experiences. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you can show up authentically, without judgment or pressure to be anything other than yourself. My areas of focus include trauma and PTSD, LGBTQIA+ identities and experiences, chronic illness, life transitions, identity exploration, and the unique challenges faced by climbers and athletes. I also work with college and graduate students navigating academic pressures, identity development, and major life transitions; individuals exploring career changes, workplace stress, and professional identity; and older adults navigating aging, grief, changing relationships, and new chapters of life. Additionally, I support people experiencing eco-anxiety, political stress, and challenges in their relationships with themselves and others. My therapeutic approach integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic and body-based practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and parts-informed work. Together, we'll explore how your past experiences, emotions, relationships, and nervous system shape your present, while developing tools and insights that support meaningful, lasting change. Whether you're processing difficult experiences, feeling disconnected from yourself, or navigating a period of uncertainty, you don't have to figure it all out alone. I welcome you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see whether working together feels like a good fit

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for your individual experiences. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you in exploring challenges, understanding patterns, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic and body-based practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and parts-informed approaches. Depending on your needs and goals, our work may involve processing past experiences, exploring emotions and relationships, building coping skills, or developing a deeper connection with yourself. I value authenticity, humor, and open communication in the therapeutic relationship. You can expect an affirming, nonjudgmental space where your identities and lived experiences are respected, your boundaries are honored, and we regularly check in about what is and isn't working for you. Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, and we'll work together to find an approach that feels supportive and meaningful to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy should be a collaborative and individualized process, shaped by your unique experiences, needs, and goals. Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know one another, exploring what brings you to therapy, understanding your history, and identifying what you'd like to work toward. Building trust and a strong therapeutic relationship is important to me, and there's no expectation that you share everything right away. A typical session often begins with checking in about how you've been feeling, what's come up since we last met, and what feels most important to explore that day. From there, our work might involve processing emotions or past experiences, identifying patterns in thoughts and relationships, exploring how stress and emotions show up in your body, or practicing new ways of responding to challenges. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate EMDR, somatic exercises, mindfulness, values exploration, or parts work. Some sessions may be more structured and focused on specific therapeutic techniques, while others may be more conversational and reflective. Throughout our work, I prioritize consent, flexibility, and open communication. I'll regularly check in about how therapy is feeling for you and whether our approach is meeting your needs. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported and empowered to explore, grow, and make meaningful changes at your own pace.
