As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a Master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree from Old Dominion University, I am here to help you develop a better understanding of your symptoms while providing guidance to reduce their negative impact on daily life and relationships. Together, we will explore strategies to address and diminish ongoing difficulties and barriers, supporting you in becoming the best version of yourself.
My approach is collaborative, offering therapeutic pathways and education that promote your existing strengths and abilities. This foundation helps sustain the positive outcomes you achieve long after counseling has ended.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am person centered and engaging. I believe in teamwork and will help you to develop a pathway, (through education, strategies and clinical approaches) towards creating the positive version of yourself you desire.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
The client is provided a safe space where they will be encouraged to share their major concerns at their own pace. Through the process of building a therapeutic alliance and rapport, the client will be educated and guided through psychotherapy, education and clinical strategies to attain goals that the client identifies as essential to their overall well-being.
