What should a new client know about working with you?

I use an eclectic style of therapy that combines, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, person centered, problem solving, imago dialogue, conflict resolution and motivational interviewing. I also use cognitive processing therapy for those who suffer with trauma and may need a bit more intense therapy. I meet the client where they are. I am engaged with my clients so not only do I listen but will offer feedback as well. I like to use workbooks and worksheets when appropriate. I find some clients like to have exercises to do in between sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Upon intake I have clients complete assessments to determine if there is anxiety, depression or a possible mood disorder. Other assessments may be given as we continue to meet if there is a concern a client has, or we would like to rule out something. Talk therapy is a big part of what I do. I am here for clients who want to be in therapy. If you do not want to be in therapy or are not ready, that is ok, you should never be forced into it.

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $150 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $100-125 for 55 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

I accept many insurance plans. If you are private paying, payment is due at the end of each session. Cash and checks are not accepted as this is virtual therapy.
