If you’ve tried therapy before and felt like you weren’t getting anywhere, or you’re tired of talking about the same challenges without knowing what to do next, you may be looking for a different kind of therapeutic experience. My approach is solution-focused, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy should provide not only insight into why you think, feel, and respond the way you do, but also tangible tools and action steps that help you create meaningful change in your everyday life. With more than 20 years of experience in emotional and mental health, communication, conflict resolution, relationships, and personal growth, I bring a unique perspective informed by both therapy and coaching. I work with clients who want to better understand themselves, break unhelpful patterns, strengthen their relationships, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges. Together, we’ll look beneath the surface to understand the patterns and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, including the impact of trauma, attachment wounds, and past experiences. I’ll offer compassionate but honest feedback and help you see things from a new perspective—because sometimes we simply can’t see our own patterns until someone helps us recognize them. Our work will also focus on where you want to go. We’ll identify what matters most to you, reconnect with your values, and develop practical strategies for building a life that feels more fulfilling and authentic. I believe healing happens through connection. Whether you’re struggling with relationships, loneliness, communication, self-expression, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, we can work together to build greater inner stability and healthier, more meaningful connections. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. If you’re ready for a fresh perspective and a clearer path forward, I’d be honored to work with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect our work together to be honest, collaborative, and focused on helping you make meaningful changes in your life. I take an active approach to therapy and believe our sessions should give you more than just a place to talk. I want you to leave with greater clarity, a new perspective, and practical tools you can actually use. I will ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback, and help you recognize patterns that can sometimes be difficult to see on your own. My goal is always to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also feeling supported in growing and trying something different. Our work will be shaped around you and what you want to accomplish. Whether you are struggling in your relationships, feeling stuck, dealing with patterns that keep repeating, or simply wanting to feel more connected to yourself and your life, we will work together to figure out what is getting in the way and what steps can help you move forward. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You can come exactly as you are, and we will start from there.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I typically start by getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and learning what you hope will be different in your life. I want to understand the bigger picture, including your history, relationships, current challenges, and the patterns you may have been experiencing over time. From there, we work together to identify what is most important to you and create a clear direction for our work. I take an active and flexible approach, so our sessions may include exploring where certain patterns come from, building awareness around your thoughts and behaviors, working through relationship dynamics, or developing practical tools and strategies to help you move forward. I also believe therapy should evolve as you do. We will regularly check in about what is working, what you need more of, and where you want to go next. My goal is for you to feel that our work is purposeful and that you are gaining a better understanding of yourself while making progress toward the life you want. Most importantly, the process is collaborative. You know yourself better than anyone, and my role is to bring experience, perspective, and guidance to help you uncover what may be difficult to see on your own.
