Hello, I'm Stephanie Welker, MSW, LCSW. With 30 years of experience in clinical social work, I have had the privilege of helping individuals and families navigate through some of life's most challenging moments. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Social Work from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, in 1991. My journey began in the medical field as a hospital social worker, where I provided critical support to patients and their families. I then transitioned to the non-profit sector, serving as a Clinical Director of a social service agency, where I specialized in mental health services, case management, and family services for high-risk parents and children. For the past several years, I have been in private practice, working with children, teens, adults, and families. My areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, anger management, family conflict, relationship issues, grief and loss, PTSD, and trauma. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed Care, and EMDR, to tailor my approach to each client's unique needs. I hold licenses as a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical in both Colorado and Florida. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and work towards healing and growth.
