Getting to know Stephanie West

What would it be like to see yourself more clearly? If you struggle with old emotional patterns, they may show up now in many ways. You might feel like you're not "enough," find it difficult to make room for life beyond being the overachiever, or simply not know who you truly are. These conflicts can also manifest in your body and how you treat it-perhaps through headaches, chronic lower back pain, difficulty nourishing yourself, or a fraught relationship with your appearance. Together, we collaborate to make you an active participant in your healing and help you get back to living your life fully. Couple's therapy is increasingly becoming a ?first resort? rather than a ?last resort.? If you are experiencing early relationship conflicts after moving in together or meeting each other's families, we work to identify and articulate the emotions beneath those conflicts using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and learn how to show up better for each other. I strongly believe in the healing power of in-person therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I was a Pilates instructor for nearly 20 years. The body tells a story, and therapy gives us the tools to articulate that story. I'd love to meet you in person and hear your story. I hold a Master's in Counseling from City University of New York, Hunter College, and a Master's in Kinesiology from A.T. Still University. When you book an appointment through ZocDoc, you are scheduling a free consultation to see if we are a good fit. This can be in person or online. *I am an out-of-network provider.*
