What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy is about making movement. The purpose of therapy is multifaceted. People who engage consistently in therapy generally have fewer negative emotional symptoms and report experiencing a higher overall quality of life after receiving treatment. It is important to understand that therapy is not a quick fix or one size fits all. Therapy is a process. The type of treatment approach implemented in therapy will be discussed between you and your provider.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

While everyone is unique, I find that clients start to feel the benefits of therapy after four to six sessions. This really depends on how much work you are willing to invest into your mental health and self-care. I am invested in optimizing your treatment goals based on what movement you want to make in treatment. Ask yourself, what changes to you want to make? Are you ready to change your life? Change your mind, then change your life!
