*After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete the required intake forms prior to your appointment* I have experience supporting individuals navigating complex or layered experiences, including trauma, grief and loss, chronic stress, complicated family or relationship dynamics, shifts in identity, and perinatal experiences. These experiences can all quietly reshape how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we move through each day. Sometimes these experiences feel sudden and acute. Other times, they build slowly until something that once felt manageable starts to feel like too much. Therapy can help create space to understand these experiences better, process difficult emotions, and recognize patterns that may no longer be serving you. My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you can show up honestly and feel supported while working toward healing, self-understanding, and meaningful change. Together, we will work toward helping you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your day-to-day life. I am most passionate about providing care that honors the full context of a person’s life – their relationships, culture, identity, and lived experiences. I believe mental health care should feel accessible, affirming, and grounded in the realities people are navigating every day. I am particularly committed to increasing access to mental health care and helping reduce stigma within BIPOC communities, where systemic barriers and cultural stigma can make seeking support more complex. I am also deeply invested in helping patients feel more connected to their own strength and capacity, so they feel better equipped to navigate challenges and move toward meaningful change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you are not used to having space that is fully yours. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment that feels grounding, collaborative, and paced in a way that feels comfortable for each person. I want patients to feel seen and supported without judgment — free to explore their thoughts and experiences without pressure to have everything figured out. I believe each person brings valuable insight into their own lives, and my role is to support that process while offering tools, reflection, and guidance along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I draw primarily from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness while integrating relational, strengths-based, and systems-oriented approaches. I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD, including those impacted by chronic conditions, interpersonal violence, and significant life transitions. I also bring a unique lens from my background as a postpartum doula, where I supported birthing people and families through the emotional and physical transitions of early parenthood. This experience has further informed my work in perinatal mental health, identity shifts, and the importance of culturally responsive, compassionate care.

I get that figuring out insurance can feel confusing and overwhelming, especially when you're already dealing with stress or anxiety. That's why I accept most major insurance plans and have a team that handles the details for you. We'll check your coverage, explain your costs clearly, and help you understand your options, so you can focus on feeling better, not paperwork. Most patients pay $35 or less per psychiatry appointment, including copays and deductibles. Getting support shouldn't feel like another impossible task, and with us, it doesn't have to.
