Hello, I'm Susan, and I'm here to help you navigate the emotional challenges life throws your way. With thirty years of practice as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, I've had the privilege of meeting many individuals and understanding the deep impact of emotional struggles on our lives and relationships. Our setbacks, losses, and the ensuing struggles often intertwine with our relationships, threatening our well-being. As a humanistic and relational therapist, I draw from a variety of strategies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness and Systems Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Attachment Theory. Together, we will explore the root causes of your struggles and, with self-awareness, empower you to grow and create a path for healing and finding your best self. My approach is authentic, warm, and empathetic, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to set the intention to improve one's life. I am passionate about helping you overcome life's obstacles, including symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation disorders, and relational challenges. I believe that my clients are the experts on what they need and hope to achieve with my help. I strive to form a close therapeutic bond with my clients, helping them define their goals for our work together and guiding our experience with compassion to achieve successful outcomes.
