Hello, I'm Susanne. In 2007, I began my journey in the field of Addictions Counseling, and in 2014, I proudly graduated from Adams State University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Today, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and hold a certification in Addictions Counseling (LAC). Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in various settings, including a substance detoxification facility, community mental health, a medical clinic, and with individuals experiencing trauma and substance use disorders. Two years ago, I started my private practice, where I have been dedicated to helping teenagers and adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. My approach primarily involves Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Brain Spotting, which I use to assist clients in managing life events through collaborative treatment planning and skill-building. I believe that developing awareness and growth in one's life is a collaborative effort, and building a strong rapport is a vital part of the therapeutic relationship.
