I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology and Sociology from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado, and my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in the state of Colorado. With over 20 years of experience in the helping professions, I specialize in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, addiction, major life stress, major life transitions, shame/guilt, self-esteem, and self-worth. I have experience working with various levels of co-occurring treatment. Some of the therapeutic modalities I incorporate include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Positive Psychology, and a Humanistic approach.
