What should a new client know about working with you?

When you start therapy with me, you can expect a supportive, collaborative space where your experiences are respected and your goals guide the process. I believe in meeting you where you are and moving at your pace. I take a strengths-based approach, helping you recognize the tools you already have while introducing evidence-based techniques like CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Mindfulness to support your growth. Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all, I tailor each session to your unique needs and background. Most importantly, I want you to feel safe, understood, and empowered every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together begins with understanding what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to achieve. In the first session, I’ll ask questions to get to know you better, your personal history, relationships, cultural background, and current challenges. From there, we’ll set clear goals together and create a personalized plan that feels manageable and meaningful. Sessions are collaborative, with space for reflection, skill-building, and processing difficult emotions. I also check in regularly to ensure you feel therapy is helping and to adjust our approach as needed.
