I believe each client has unique needs, and no one approach is effective for all. My approach My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of my clients. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, DBT, mindfulness-based therapies, solution-focused techniques, and positive psychology. I also hold a Life Coaching certification. My focus I work with clients experiencing chronic depression, anxiety and panic disorders, Bipolar Disorder, life and career transitions, Borderline Personality Disorder, and self-injurious behavior. My communication style I am a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive therapist. I provide a validating space for my clients and believe that rapport and trust are the foundations of a productive therapeutic relationship. I also take a collaborative approach with my clients. My journey to mental healthcare Helping others has always been my North Star. I’ve worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as in my private practice. Helping people find relief from their pain, develop coping skills when they feel helpless, and guiding individuals through life’s many transitions has been my life’s mission. My goals for you Each client is unique with their own personal needs. After our initial session, we can begin to set concrete goals to help you reduce your pain and develop coping skills to live a more fulfilling life. My first session with you During our initial session, we will explore the reasons you have sought therapy and get to know each other better. While seeing a new therapist can be intimidating, I will help you clarify your needs.
