Tatyana earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Niagara University. She has trained at Erie County Medical Center where she provided adolescents with individual counseling and group counseling. She has also trained at Niagara County Department of Mental Health where she provided adults with individual and group counseling services. She has been working in the mental health field since 2017 at various levels of care and has tended to a variety of populations with diverse presenting problems and needs. Tatyana has worked at the private practice level for two years where she works with adolescents and adults with providing them individual therapy to treat anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Tatyana prides herself on being able to genuinely engage in the therapeutic relationship and treatment plan, and being able to express empathy for the clients and their specific needs. Tatyana's personal theoretical orientation is person-centered, rooted in utilizing interventions and strategies of evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and MI, to improve the overall functioning of the client. Heavy emphasis on relationships and attachments is also at the root of her practice. By empowering clients to begin the healing process, Tatyana’s goals are to help clients process and resolve feelings of incongruence and install feelings of hope and success.
