What is your typical process for working with clients?

I would describe my style as warm, authentic and collaborative. I prioritize rapport building as I want therapy to feel more like a genuine conversation rather than something overly sterile or clinical. That said, I’ll always do my best to adjust my approach based on what a client is looking for and to meet them where they are. ??A lot of my work tends to focus on identifying patterns that show up across relationships or situations. I like to work with clients to identify the roots of these patterns, how they made sense at the time and why they may not be serving them in the same way now.?? On top of that reflective work I’d describe my style as solution/goal oriented- I want to hear where the client wants to go and work with them to take the steps necessary to reach their therapeutic goals.
