"The provider is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern. *After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete required intake forms prior to your appointment* I’m a licensed master social worker with a Master of Social Work from Hunter College. My experience spans work with a diverse population across the lifespan, and I bring a flexible, patient-centered approach to care. I’ve found a particular strength in supporting patients with anxiety and trauma-related challenges, and I deeply value the opportunity to help people move forward in their lives with clarity and confidence. One of the most meaningful parts of my work has been walking with patients to the point where they feel ready to graduate from therapy. Those moments, when we pause to reflect on how far they’ve come, are profoundly powerful and remind me why I chose this path. I offer care that is grounded in science and rooted in trust. I frequently draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy. CBT focuses on how our thoughts influence our feelings and behaviors, and helps us develop more helpful patterns. DBT blends mindfulness and emotional regulation, particularly helpful for navigating intense emotions. Narrative therapy creates space to understand the story we tell ourselves, and how we might want to rewrite it. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to accessibility, learning, and genuine connection. Therapy should feel safe, effective, and tailored to your individual needs and experiences. I’m always learning so I can meet each patient with the tools, insight, and openness they deserve.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I see therapy as a collaborative journey where the patient is in the driver’s seat. My role is to offer support, direction, and a space where you feel truly heard. The most effective work happens when we build a foundation of trust and open communication. That’s where real growth begins. My style is flexible and responsive to your needs. Some patients come in feeling stuck in cycles of worry or self-doubt, while others are working through specific life experiences that have shaped how they see themselves. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and explore what’s getting in the way, whether that’s thought patterns, emotional responses, or trauma-related symptoms that still linger. I am passionate about helping people feel empowered in their own healing process. I understand how hard it can be to start therapy, and I strive to make it feel welcoming and grounded. If you’re looking for someone who will honor your pace, respect your story, and help you develop practical tools along the way, I’m here for that.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know one another. I often incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, or use dialectical behavior therapy to develop coping strategies that bring more balance and emotional regulation into daily life. If your story is central to your healing, narrative therapy can help us explore and reframe that story together. No two sessions are the same because no two patients are the same. Sometimes we’ll spend time working through a specific challenge; other times we may pause to reflect on the progress you’ve made or explore the emotions that are harder to name. I’ll always meet you where you are, and we’ll work at the pace that feels right for you. I aim to create a space that feels safe and supportive, where you don’t have to have it all figured out, and where every step forward, no matter how small, is honored.
