Jean-Paul Sartre said, "Freedom is what you do with what has been done to you." We all have had things done to us. These things do not define us - the key is what we do with them afterward. I believe each and every person has what they need right inside of them; thus, my job is not to fix or change, but to teach skills and tools to help you tap into your true self, that inner source of answers :) Have you been in talk therapy before, but feel like you're still struggling? Do you know what you want to say, but find yourself reacting instead? Do you sometimes get triggered FEELING you're not good enough or you've done something wrong or you're too much or a bother or _______, even though you COGNITIVELY KNOW it's not true? You are not alone. I combine talk therapy with the latest neuroscience to help understand these dichotomies and create LASTING change and relief. To do this I pull from an eclectic background of therapies to treat the whole system and addressing what's called bottom-up hijacking, or often referred to as the famous fight, flight, freeze, fawn system.
