All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I’ve spent the majority of my career working in supportive housing settings with individuals and families who face a variety of personal, health, and mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety/stress, schizophrenia, homelessness, ACS involvement, trauma/abuse, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, incarceration history, relationship issues, supported employment, and more. I have learned that the most vital aspect of counseling is the connection between a therapist and a client. I have experience with CBT, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused therapies. I have worked with a diverse range of clients facing challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and trauma. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from City University of New York, Hunter College.
