Tracie Duncan, MA, LPC, CCISM Trauma-Informed Therapist | First Responders & Military Specialist | Police Chaplain I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate life's toughest challenges, and I bring a unique combination of personal experience, professional expertise, and a holistic approach to the counseling process. As a survivor of childhood trauma and domestic violence, and as the daughter of a combat Army veteran who struggled with PTSD, I intimately understand the impact that trauma, grief, and mental health struggles can have on every part of your life. With over eight years of experience in crisis response, I have worked closely with first responders, military personnel, and their families. This work, coupled with my role as a police chaplain, has further reinforced my belief in the importance of addressing trauma from all angles — body, mind, and spirit. Healing is a holistic process. We cannot truly heal one part of ourselves while neglecting the rest. I specialize in helping individuals and couples heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, PTSD, and parental alienation. Parental alienation is a deeply painful and often overlooked issue that can have lasting effects on both parents and children. I work with individuals navigating this heart-wrenching experience, offering support to both parents and children to rebuild relationships and find paths toward healing. My approach is trauma-informed, and I draw from techniques like EMDR, CBT, and person-centered therapy, all while creating a warm, safe, and compassionate space for clients to explore and heal at their own pace. I believe that lasting change happens when we address the root causes of suffering, not just the symptoms, and I work collaboratively with clients to empower them to reclaim their lives. Whether you are facing challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, parental alienation, grief, or life transitions, I am here to support
