Tracy Reid, MA

Psychotherapist
MI
I am a compassionate, empathetic therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I understand that life transitions, family conflict, communication difficulties, parenting challenges, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and the effects of bullying can feel overwhelming. My experience as a single parent has shaped my understanding of life's complexities and inspired my commitment to supporting others through difficult times. I work with parents managing challenging childhood behaviors, young adults adjusting to life after high school or starting college, children experiencing bullying, and adults healing from its lasting effects. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, supportive, and trauma-informed, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems, and other evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their concerns. I meet each person where they are and work alongside them to identify meaningful goals, develop effective coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. Although starting therapy can feel intimidating, you do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. My goal is to help you discover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and move toward lasting personal growth and emotional well-being.
