What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is structured, goal-oriented, and collaborative, integrating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Positive Psychology. I emphasize practical skill-building, self-awareness, and emotional resilience while incorporating mind-body techniques to support overall well-being. For Clients with eating disorders, I utilize Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) with Intuitive Eating principles to address unhelpful patterns related to food and body image. My approach fosters a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where Clients feel empowered to make meaningful and lasting changes.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Beginning therapy is a collaborative process tailored to your needs, starting with a comprehensive assessment to explore your concerns, history, and goals. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, and, when applicable, Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) for eating disorders with Intuitive Eating principles. Mind-body medicine techniques are also incorporated to promote healing. Sessions focus on skill-building, coping strategies, and behavioral change, with progress regularly reviewed and adjusted. The duration of therapy varies based on individual goals, with the aim of equipping you with tools for long-term well-being. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel empowered to explore and address challenges. If you're ready to take the next step, I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
