Dr. Trisha Gaudig, PhD

Psychologist
SD
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. I provide psychotherapy for adults managing mental health disorders and health-related challenges, using evidence-based approaches that integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Mind-Body Medicine. My approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and practical strategies to support clients in making meaningful, values-aligned changes. My therapeutic approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw primarily from CBT, ACT, positive psychology, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. I help clients develop skills in emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility, and present-moment awareness to promote psychological resilience and improve quality of life. I work with adult clients experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related concerns, chronic stress, and behavioral health challenges associated with medical conditions. I have specialized training in treating eating disorders using enhanced CBT (CBT-E) and incorporate mindfulness and intuitive eating principles when addressing disordered eating and body image. I also support individuals coping with life transitions, caregiving roles, and adjustment to chronic illness or pain. Clients describe my communication style as warm, thoughtful, and grounded in presence. I aim to create a calm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel emotionally safe, supported, and empowered. Sessions include space for mindful reflection as well as structured, goal-oriented dialogue. I was drawn to psychology out of a deep respect for human resilience and a desire to support others in finding meaning and healing through life’s challenges.
