Hello, I'm Uric. Are you looking for change? Trying to undo barriers to change? I'm passionate about helping clients recover from childhood trauma, move beyond substance addiction, find new ways of relating to themselves and the world, and explore their humanness and spiritual selves as they grow towards fulfilling life-long pursuits or desires. My work with clients is direct and compassionate, oriented towards the relational and existential aspects of life, and is also mindfulness-based. Let's look at and move through the barriers preventing your full engagement in life and its desirable pursuits. Old stories about self need no longer hold you back. I am a certified Gestalt psychotherapist who was initially trained in Transpersonal and mindfulness-based psychology at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I also hold a deep interest in Jungian psychology and somatic psychotherapy. Our work will emphasize somatic and mindfulness-based approaches informed by Gestalt and Jungian perspectives. This means we will be actively engaging in therapy to help you become who you are at depth, not just discussing problems in our sessions together. New patterns for living will be explored. Our sessions will lead to the development of a deeper knowledge about yourself, how and why you operate in the manner that you do, and how to apply this knowledge about yourself to foster desired changes in your life.
