What should a new client know about working with you?

Stance Health is a virtual therapy practice specializing in care for people living with pain and the emotional challenges that often come with it, including stress, anxiety, depression, grief, sleep disruption, and life changes. Our therapists are trained to work with pain of many types and conditions, and care is personalized to your needs, goals, and lived experience. Sessions are online, evidence-based, and designed to help you feel understood, supported, and better equipped with practical tools that can improve daily life. Many patients also continue working with their medical providers while in therapy.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

After you request an appointment, you'll receive an invitation from Stance Health to complete a few intake questions and add your insurance and payment information to confirm your visit. In your first session, you and your therapist will talk about what you're experiencing, how pain is affecting your life, and what goals matter most to you. Together, you'll create a treatment plan tailored to your needs and schedule follow-up appointments as appropriate. You'll also be able to message your care team through the Stance Health portal between visits.
