Hello, I'm Valori. Growing up as an Air Force brat, I was fortunate to live in Europe for ten years. This unique experience taught me how to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, which has been invaluable in my career. As a scholar athlete, I learned to handle the demands and pressures of performance, skills that have translated well into my professional life. I began my career as a child development specialist, working with children with developmental delays and caregivers with mental health diagnoses. With nearly 15 years in the field, I've had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages and levels of functioning, from those adjusting to major life changes to those designated as seriously mentally ill. My journey has taken me through various esteemed mental health agencies, where I've led groups, provided mandated substance abuse treatment, collaborated with DCS and the probation system, and earned the status of an AZ Board of Behavioral Health approved supervisor. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that 'Every person deserves to live the best life possible.' I adopt a holistic approach, recognizing the equal importance of mind and body in the healing process. Often, physiological keys can unlock mental health opportunities for growth and recovery. As a trained yoga teacher and a current health coach student, I integrate these practices into my therapeutic work. I have advanced training in personality disorders and trauma, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and Polyvagal Informed Trauma Assessments and Interventions. Recently, I became certified in Clinical Military Counseling, allowing me to serve active military service members, veterans, family members, and first responders, staying true to my roots. My approach is person-centered and solution-focused.

Valori is wonderful and I feel she’s genuinely helped a lot
There were unresolved insurance issues so we haven't been able to dive into any in-depth problems. I am currently experiencing serious marital issues and would like to proceed with joint sessions. Medicare will cover all sessions.
Glad she was approaching enough to engage with
Good beginning.
