Psychotherapist

To be suffering in an ailing society is a human experience, not a personal deficiency. It is understandable to be distressed by the world we live in, without having the time to process or even grieve what happens each day. Vera is here to give you the space to address your emotions genuinely, however they manifest. She has experience working with depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Additionally, Vera work with individuals and couples facing ongoing stressors, the pressure of societal expectations, and trauma, in a safe and affirming holding environment, while providing room to challenge yourself and grow. Influenced by feminist, counterculture, and alternative subcultures, she understands that difference creates a habit of reflectiveness about basic human questions that we may take for granted. Understanding what it feels like to be on the “outside,” Vera is committed to supporting people from all walks of life. Vera guides people in navigating their emotional experiences, relationships to media, sex, dating, intimacy, and interpersonal relationships, fostering a space for vulnerability and authenticity. She approaches therapy from an empathic, person-centered lens, drawing from elements of various modalities and approaches to help you learn, adapt, cope, problem-solve, and empower yourself. She is not here to tell you how to feel or who to be, but simply to hold space for the thoughts you may feel alone in having and the feelings that seem overwhelming, while assisting you in cultivating the person you want to be and the life you want to live. During her free time, Vera loves listening to music, reading, shopping, exercising, and doing environmental cleanup.
