As Irvin Yalom poignantly stated, "The act of revealing oneself fully to another and still being accepted may be the major vehicle of therapeutic help." I am here to listen, support, and guide you every step of the way, helping you embrace the here and now and unlock your inner strength.
I view therapy as a collaborative endeavor, where we work in concert to uncover patterns, build coping strategies, and foster personal growth. My dedication lies in creating a sanctuary of safety and acceptance where you can benefit from our therapeutic relationship. Together, we will learn the uniqueness of being you and navigate the complexities you encounter.
I have experience assisting adolescents and adults in managing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and exploring racial, gender, and sexual identities. As your therapist, I am committed to guiding you toward healing and self-discovery. With an M.A. in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and specialized training in LGBTQ+ Health, Education, and Social Services, I bring a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to my practice.
*Vero is bilingual in Mandarin and English. They offer therapy in both languages.
