Veronica Snow-Benton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the field of social work for 32 years. She enjoys working with adults facing a variety of challenges. She works with individuals and couples utilizing their innate strengths to overcome current challenges and obtain the life they want for themselves. Veronica has spent the last 20 years working with service members and their families facing the many challenges of military life. Veronica utilizes a variety of counseling techniques to best meet the needs of her clients, with particular emphasis on integrating Cognitive Behavioral, DBT, Person-Centered, and Interpersonal approaches. Veronica graduated with her B.S. in Social Work from Slippery Rock University, and received her M.S.W. from Marywood University. Veronica obtained her LSW in 1999 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and maintained that license until she obtained her current L.C.S.W in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2022. Veronica has lived in the Tidewater area for 14 years and enjoys fishing, the arts, sporting events and spending time with her family and pets. She believes that when you allow people to explore their own goals and strengths amazing transitions can occur and people can live and fulfill their life’s purpose and follow their dreams.
