“Im not one to open up very easily and made Victoria got me to open up easier than anyone else has in the past. It felt comfortable and natural to talk to her and let everything out. Usually i feel like im talking to professional but with Victoria it felt like i was talking to a friend. Her tools and guidance are amazing. She goes out of her way to make herself available at all times and even if shes busy she never leaves any message or call unanswered. I hope i never have to find someone new. If you havent, you need to make your appointment asap. ”

“I have been seeing Victoria for almost a year now I believe, and she has been extremely helpful. I first started going to her because of a health issue I was dealing with, and in her bio, it said she dealt with a major health issue in the past and therefore had a passion for helping others going through similar experiences. I am so glad I saw that and decided to go with her! I have had many revelations in our sessions, and I honestly feel like I’m in a much better place with better tools at my disposal than before. She is kind, affirming, and a great listener, and I also really appreciate her ability to tell me like it is at times which is very helpful for me. I’ve seen a few therapists before at different points in my life, but I think this is the first time I’ve really understood certain things about myself and made a lot of progress. 10/10 highly recommend!”

Getting to know Victoria Lemanski

I am here to help you identify and achieve your best self. I am a firm believer of “where there is a will, there is a way.” If you are reading this, you have already identified with your will and made the first, most difficult step, towards change. Which is, acknowledging that a change needs to be made. As a cancer survivor, I hold a passion for working with individuals navigating an illness, as well as their caregivers. As a former athlete, I also have a special interest in working with athletes. I have a deep appreciation for the unique demands placed on both athletes and artists. Whether in sport or creative expression, performance, identity shifts, and pressure often intertwine. I’m passionate about supporting individuals who are driven to excel- helping them find balance in daily life, navigate setbacks, and reconnect with their sense of purpose. My work centers on building resilience, honoring identity beyond performance, and fostering mental wellness in high-performing and creative lives. Some of my previous experience also includes helping navigate grief, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, learning disabilities, and trauma disorders. I have a law and psychology background along with a Masters in Mental Health & Counseling from NYU.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I utilize an integration of eastern and western practices- implementing mind and body techniques, breath-work, dialectal behavior therapy, psychodynamic approaches, listening strategies, solution-focused therapy, Jungian approaches, and narrative therapy. I will provide you with the tools to live optimally.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe that the pursuit of wellness is an eternal active process with the mind being the control center of well-being. Therefore, my primary goal is to aid individuals in developing a relationship between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This facilitates identifying and navigating goals and purpose as well as distortions and obstacles standing in the way. My theoretical orientation is cognitive-behavioral based, psychodynamic based, person-centered based, and humanistic based, amongst others. I utilize a variety of modalities stemming from the aforementioned as well as mind and body techniques, listening skills, Rogerian notions, Alderian methods, Socratic methods, solution-focused techniques, existential frameworks, dialectal-behavioral skills, and polyvagal methods.
