Willow Arlenea, LPC

Psychotherapist
CO
Hi! I’m Willow and I have been helping people with their challenges and pain for many years. Life can be very hard sometimes and we often need some helpful support for anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, etc. I can offer you a sympathetic ear, and a set of tools and skills to move your life in a more positive direction. I can also help you work through any old or current traumas you may have so that your life can have more flow and joy. I specialize in helping clients with their family relationships, grief, multicultural and diversity issues, anxiety, depression, phobias, PTSD, intimate and romantic relationship problems, somatic symptoms, spirituality, blocked creativity, stress, trauma, life transitions, and more. In my private practice, I work with individuals, families, couples, and women in groups. My approach is warm, caring, and empathetic, grounded in my own experiences with pain and healing. For those of you who are ready to embark on a journey of deep transformation, I utilize a mindfulness-based, body-centered approach, while incorporating sub-personality work. I am also trained in trauma resolution methods such as Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. These modalities can help you connect with and release the distress that may be buried deep within your system, so you may clear old patterns and live a freer life. My journey has taken me through various roles, from a professional artist to a licensed therapist, always with a focus on psychological and spiritual growth. I hold a BFA in fine arts from Boise State University and an MA in Transpersonal Psychotherapy and Counseling from Naropa University. Additionally, I have extensive training in Authentic Relating Communication skills, which enriches my practice today.
